Project WILD - suitable for any educator, any grade level, with an unbiased approach to basic wildlife management practices. It’s an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program that focuses on wildlife and habitat. The goal of Project WILD is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment. Project Learning Tree - Can't make it to an in-person professional development workshop? Sign up for an online workshop that can be completed in your own time, wherever you are. Currently offered: PreK-8 online workshop, an Early Childhood online workshop, and a GreenSchools online course.
Texas Aquatic Science is a comprehensive aquatic science curriculum, from molecules to ecosystems, and headwaters to ocean, for middle school and high school students; it includes an online student textbook, a teacher guide, specially produced videos, and supplementary materials. Texas A&M Galveston Sea Camp offers adventures exploring the wonders of the marine and estuarine environments with access to research vessels, oceanographic equipment, laboratory facilities, and a professional staff enabling you to learn about the ocean through hands-on experiences.
